Jelly Academy Partners with WBE Canada

December 18, 2025

Women Business Enterprises Canada Council (WBE Canada) is Excited to Announce Jelly Academy as Our Newest Official Partner

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to empowering women-owned businesses through high-quality digital skills training, strategic support, and community-building initiatives.  Together, Jelly Academy and WBE Canada can provide women-owned businesses opportunities to strengthen their digital marketing skills through on-line and in-person training courses.

Digital marketing is crucial for SMEs, allowing them to compete with larger brands, reach targeted audiences cost-effectively, and build credibility online. It provides measurable results, enabling businesses to track performance and optimize strategies while fostering customer loyalty through engagement and personalized experiences.  In today’s business environment, most buying decisions start online, making digital marketing essential for survival and growth.

Jelly Academy is a world leader in current and future-focused training, rapid reskilling, micro-training, digital skills training, workshops, association mentorship training, and events both online and at their learning studio in Fort Langley, BC.  Started in 2013 by Darian Kovacs, a B.C. Indigenous marketer, Jelly Academy has grown to be the best digital marketing course taught virtually in Canada, specializing in digital marketing training that builds in-house skills designed for individuals as well as teams, catering to all sizes of businesses or organizations.

“It has been our mission since day 1 to support underrepresented groups in Canada access training that will amplify their careers and/or give them the skills and tools to drive growth for their businesses. Worldwide, women owned small and medium sized businesses face a $1.7 trillion financing gap compared to their male counterparts. This is just one example of the systemic barriers that WBE aims to address. We are honoured to join the WBE Canada ecosystem and help close the gap faced by women-owned businesses to access the necessary resources to grow.” Chris Penner

WBE Canada Partners are service providers and vendors of all sizes that want to connect with our Certified WBE Community and increase their profile among Canadian Women Business Enterprises (WBEs). Partnership with WBE Canada creates important collaborations, generating support for each other’s organizations with the goal to strengthen each other’s network and grow our aligned values. “For small and medium enterprises, digital marketing is an industry that moves at lightning speed and can be cost prohibitive when looking at outside agency support. Yet it is crucial to the growth and success of women-owned businesses in today’s business environment. We look forward to partnering with Jelly Academy as together we provide the necessary tools and support to help our women-owned business community become enterprise ready in an ever increasing competitive landscape.“
Danielle Barkman, Director of Marketing and Business Growth.
