Contracts in the Modern World is a practical seminar led by Dora Konomi and Alisha Li, commercial litigation lawyers of Walker Law, to help business owners confidently review and negotiate agreements that affect their businesses.
This presentation will begin with the fundamentals: what makes a contract legally binding and the two main types of contracts business owners most commonly encounter. We will then explore how to approach contract negotiations strategically, key terms to watch for, and important privacy considerations when entering into contracts.
The seminar will also address how contract practices have evolved in recent years, including the use of AI to draft contracts and the world’s growing reliance on electronic signatures. Throughout, the seminar will highlight what has changed in the modern era of contracts – and importantly, the fundamentals that remain the same.
The session will conclude with a Q&A to address participants’ questions.
