Anne-Gabrielle Berthaud - National Engagement Lead, Inclusive Trade Export Development Canada (EDC) – Toronto, Ontario
Anne-Gabrielle Berthaud is the National Engagement Lead, Inclusive Trade at Export Development Canada (EDC), where she leads market-facing engagement to support underserved Canadian small and medium-sized exporters through their international growth journey. Based in Toronto, Anne-Gabrielle works nationally with entrepreneurs and ecosystem partners to advance inclusive trade and help more Canadian businesses of all backgrounds succeed globally.
In her role, Anne-Gabrielle leads discovery and export readiness conversations, connects entrepreneurs to tailored EDC and partner solutions, and executes on EDC’s strategic partnerships with organizations across the inclusive trade ecosystem, including financial institutions, government partners, and business associations. She plays a key role in strengthening collaboration and expanding access to trade resources for businesses owned by women, Indigenous Peoples, Black and racialized Canadians, people with disabilities and members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community from coast to coast. Fluent in French and English and holding an Honours Bachelor’s degree in International Economics, Anne joined EDC in 2019 and has since built a strong foundation supporting small business exporters across all sectors and regions, developing deep expertise in customer needs, EDC solutions, and Canada’s trade ecosystem. She is passionate about inclusive trade and small business entrepreneurship and is committed to contributing to a more equitable and resilient Canadian economy.
